Steel Authority of India is taking up an expansion project at its Bokaro Steel Plant. The project involves the addition of Pellet plant and a 7m tall, top charged Coke Oven battery within the existing plant premises and the raw material required for this facilities will be sourced from existing sources. As of December 2014, environmental clearance is underway.
