Bharat Aluminium Company is setting up a 400kV D/C transmission line from BALCO 1200MW Power plant to PGCIL 765/400kV Dharamjaygarh Pooling station at Bhaisma. The line is proposed for the evacuation of power from Balco 1200MW power plant to interstate Grid of PGCIL. As of February 2015, company has applied for forest clearances.
