Raj WestPower, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, is taking up an expansion project at its existing power plant at Bhadresh, Barmer. The project involves the addition of 1 x 660 MW super critical lignite based thermal power unit to the existing 8 x 135 MW CFBC based power plant. As of March 2015, company has approached MoEF for clearances.
