Rain Cements, formerly known as Rain Commodities, is setting up a WHR based thermal power project at its existing cement plant in Boincheruvupalli, Peapully, Kurnool. Company has estimated the project cost to rs. 700 Million, and will be funded through internal accruals and bank loans. As of March 2015, Board of directors has approved the project.
