'Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation is planning to set up a 250 MW lignite based thermal power plant as an extension of Akrimota Thermal Power Station at Nani Chher village in Lakhpat taluka of Kachchh district of Gujaratt. As of march 2013, GMDC has invited bids for preparation of feasibility study report.
