East Central Railway's Madhepura Locomotive Project

East Central Railways is planning to develop a electric locomotive plant at Madhepura in Bihar. As of June 2014, four companies namely Bombardier; Siemens; Alstom; and General Electric have been shortlisted for setting up the project.
